Pippi helps Paul to become bigger, stronger and...

Pippi and Paul got up early the next day. Pippi ran to Paul’s house, wearing her cleats, shorts and her t-shirt. She ran up to the window of Paul’s bedroom and she started knocking on the glass.

“Come on! Get up! We need to practice!” she shouted, tossing the football into the air.

Paul smiled as he leaped out of his bed and got dressed as quickly as possible. He put on his shorts, his shirt, his socks and his cleats before dashing out the door to meet Pippi outside. From there, they ran to the park across the street where there was a large, open field.

Once they got there, they started to toss the ball to each other from various distances, while standing and while running in different directions. Then, they sprinted to the high school where they actually practiced in the football field. It was great since there was nobody else there. It was too early in the morning!

After about 2 hours of throwing the ball down the football field, Pippi and Paul and walked over to the small coffee shop down the street.

“Let’s recruit a few other kids to join in on the practice with us!” Pippi suggested.

So, the two of them walked down the street and they spotted Alex, the boy who lived next door, and Jennifer, another girl, same age as Pippi. The four of them returned to the field and practiced throwing the football around until…
