You sighed as you sat at the stoplight, waiting for the light to turn green as you drove your son to your destination. You had run out of medication, so your body was now just as weak and malleable as Jack's. You really should have stayed home today, but as you looked back at Jack's excited little face, you couldn't bring yourself to cancel your plans for today. You had promised your son a day out today, and you knew he would be disappointed if you backed out. The light soon turned green and you drove onward.
