You quickly discovered that all of the food that was suppose to be sent for you. So that you can live on the planet wasn't even left on the planet! The forgot one of the most basic things that you would need to survive on this planet. This meant that there would be much more difficulties for you ahead. As you all just arrived on the planet on knew very little about it.
" What do we do now we don't have any food?" You asked the rest of the group. You were worried but fortunately some of the others had a few ideas.
" Don't worry Kayla, we may be the same age, but I do have an idea, will just have to hunt for our food. Kind of like the did back in the old days of Earth." Zack said. You really didn't like the idea of hurting animals but you also knew everyone had to eat.
" Yeah! like fishing, but how are we suppose to catch anything?" Hans asked.
" You don't have to worry about that. I am sure we have equipment for that. Our planet may have forgotten our food, but they haven't forgotten our equipment." Melody replied.
" Guess we have no choice, but what if we don't like to hunt we can forage for food." Betty suggested. We all now at least have had some sort of plan to acquire food. Fortunately if we had the equipment to hunt, that means we have the equipment to cook it as well. Which saves us time. However for the food search we would have to be splitting up. One group for the hunt and another foraging. Even though none of us were adults we were still highly capable.
" So I guess this means five of us will go hunting and five of us will go foraging then?" You asked.
" That seems the case, in that case how about Max, Mary, Peter and Kiki will go foraging and the older kids will go hunting. Hunting may be too dangerous for the younger ones right now, especially since we don't know what's there." Zack said taking charge. You admittedly thought his decision was a good one as it kept the younger colonist safe. However You didn't want anything to happen to them and now had to choose would you hunt with the Older Kids, or watch the younger ones as they forage in the forest.
