Adam then heads home with Mia.
He carries her since her shoes have gone missing.
They head to the subway.
Mia appears to be getting heavier but Adam doesn’t pay much notice.
In truth she was slowly growing larger as strings of electrical energy flowed towards and into her from surrounding sources.
Things would soon get real crazy when he took her into the subway underground.
This was one of those cities where it takes a heck of a lot for commuters to pay any mind plus this was the dry season for use of this particular rail line.
More red and blue strands of electrical energies were being drawn to Mia inside the station.
Adam paid for himself at the kiosk and Mia was free.
The train pulled up and Adam sat her down after they boarded before double checking the
“Summer break” rail schedules for their trip to the main rail line.
Mia played with her feet out of Boredem and habit and her family suspected because her feet were as abnormally small and dainty as Mia was.
Meanwhile power began to arc and the strands formed almost like threads of lightning mostly coming from the overhead power lines for the train.
Adam didn’t notice.
The train pulled off and the lightning followed along with the train.

The next few stops were deserted thus the train didn’t stop.
Mia meanwhile had removed her socks.
The next stop a few people were picked up but on the car behind Mia and Adam.
Finally they approached their stop which was a larger station in one of the busy parts of their region and a small city unto itself a mini downtown area of sorts with office buildings and skyscrapers to boot.
It was where Mia and Adam would connect to another train then a bus.
Plans changed tho. As Adam picked up Mia and exited he noticed the lights in the station flickering.
He sat Mia down.

Suddenly Mia fell into a sort of trance.
As Adam turned to Mia the blue and red energy was swirling around her intensely then bolts formed from the train and power lines as the train began to pull out.
Suddenly Adam was blown back and people in the Station ran panicking over the lightning storm brewing in the station.
Suddenly the power went out and all trains stopped even those several stations away.
The blackness was illuminated by the energy surrounding Mia as it was absorbed into her.
Suddenly she began to grow larger.
At street level no one knew why a few dozen folks fled the rail station.
In fact they had no idea until a couple minutes later the ground began to rumble.
Next the sidewalks and pavement cracked.
Suddenly something big burst from underground and it was getting bigger but was obscured a bit by clouds of kicked up dirt and debris.
Moments later the shaking stopped and debris cleared.
There standing in the ruins of the now collapsed subway station was 2 large feet, attached to large legs.
Looking up people were shocked to see a Skyscraper sized child, a not so little girl standing there dazed and confused.
Mia was now staring at a glass office building right in front of her except she was eye level with 2 of its upper floors though the building was just slightly taller than herself.
