Matt continued to watch the wrestling match with rapt attention as Alice prepped herself for what was to come. After taking her big brother's abuse on the chin for so long she was ready to finally have her revenge. She adjusted the settings on the gun and pointed it at herself.
Matt remained blissfully unaware as a dark shadow drew closer to him from behind. He was caught completely off guard when he felt a hand touch his shoulder. He quickly brushed it off however just assuming it was his annoying little sister. "In a minute, Alice."
He hadn't even turned to face her and that irked the now taller girl something fierce. She placed her hand on his shoulder again and squeezed as hard as she could. Matt actually winced this time and turned to face her with an angered look on his face.
"What the hell do you want pip... squeak?" All his angered died out almost instantly when he found that his annoying little sister wasn't so little anymore. She still looked the same in a physical sense, just much larger than he remembered her being a few minutes ago.
"Hey, Matty. Notice anything different?" She teased him, already knowing that he did. His eyes were so wide that they honestly reminded her of dinner plates.
"A-Alice...?" He gasped in shock. Who?! What?! When?! Where?! How?! He couldn't believe what he was seeing. This couldn't be real. His dumb little sister was seven years old. There's no way she could be as tall as she was right now. Maybe he was having that particular nightmare again?
His startled reaction was enough to make her giggle. Never in a million years did she think she would scare her jerky older brother so badly. "Yeah, it's me. What do you think?"
What did he think? "How?"
"You don't need to worry about that, little brother." She spoke more seriously as she increased the pressure on his shoulder. She must be super strong now because she could see Matt grimacing. "Stand up."
Matt didn't know why, but he found himself obeying his little sister's command. He did just that and noted just how tall she was compared to him. Looking straight ahead his eyes were on the level with Alice's not yet developing chest. He wasn't great at math, but he knew his own height, so this meant Alice was over six feet. She was a freaking amazon.
"Wow, it's so weird looking down at you." She giggled. That comment caused Matt to bristle, and he quickly pulled away from his sister grip and took a few cautious steps back.
"Alice... how did you get this big?" He asked once again, trying to put on his best tough guy facade while he was at it. He couldn't risk his big little sister seeing him sweat any more than she already had.
"I said you don't need to worry about that, little brother." She reiterated before slamming a fist into her open palm like she'd seen other people do on tv. "All you need to know right now is that it's payback time for being nasty to me all the time."
Matt gulped nervously. This wasn't good. He didn't have a good track record against people bigger than him, but this was still seven-year-old Alice. She might be big, but she didn't know the first thing about combat. He might be able to take her down and get some answers out of her. But if he couldn't then he might be in a really bad way.
Was the risk really worth the reward? If push came to shove, then he might just have to make a break for it. What was the best course of action?
