Mary was in her room playing a computer game when her mother popped in.
"Hey, Mary, is this a good spot to pause?" Mom asked.
Mary paused he game and turned to her mother.
"Sure thing. What's up, Mom?" Mary asked.
"Well, I was thinking about doing an experiment but your brothers wouldn't do it. Will you help me out?" Mom asked.
Mary squinted.
"I don't know. What's it all about?" She asked.
"It's simple, Mary. I put you to sleep and you wake up with your arms and legs submerged in goo." Mom said.
Mary shrugged, not realizing the implication of this.
"Why not. Let's go." She said, following Mom to her lab.
Mom took Mary to an operating table.
"Take off your clothes." She instructed.
Mary dutifully removed her top and her pants, sitting on the table in her underwear.
"All of them, Mary." Mom said.
Mary groaned. Mom had seen her naked many times before, but she was a teenager going through puberty, and was very self-conscious about her body. Still, she removed her panties and bra. She moved her arm over her small breasts to cover them, and covered her crotch with her hand.
"Now lay down and go to sleep. This will help you sleep." Mom said, handing Mary a mask attached to a hose that sprayed sleeping gas.
In an instant Mary was out like a light and Mom could start her experiment...

Mary awoke some time later in her warm comfy bed. She was still naked, and could feel a soft warm goo all over her arms and legs. Slowly, the girl opened her eyes and saw in front of her, a fish tank full of goo with her arms and legs submerged.
"Eek! What happened to me?" Mary shrieked.
Mom was in the room watching over her. Mary's arms and legs flailed about in the goo tank. Even though they weren't attached to her she could still move them.
"Mary! Mary! Calm down. Look, they still move! Cool, right? I put a time-space wormhole in your shoulders and hips, so they're still part of you, technically, just in a different spot. Cool, huh?" Mom said.
Mary wiggled her torso, trying to sit up in bed.
"I... I can get them back later, right?" Mary said.
"Of course! But you're going to be an armless legless girl for a while so I can see how things go." Mom said.
Mary looked down at her shoulders. There was a mysterious dark nub where her arms once were, which must have been the wormhole Mom put inside her joints.
"Oh... guess this isn't so bad, for now at least." Mary said.
"Well, I expect complications. Ones that can be dealt with, but complications nonetheless. " Mom said.
