Summer was relaxing when she heard a knock at the door.

She opened the door to find Thomas, a neighbour not about Mouse's age that Mouse kinda had a crush on.

"Oh hi Summer, is Mouse in?" he asked.

"Hi Thomas, yeah I think so. I'll just check" said Summer.

Summer went up to Mouse's room where she was watching TV.

"Hey, you lucky lady. There's a boy at the door asking if you wanna go play" she said

"Really, who?" asked Mouse.

"Thomas. He's waiting at the door right now, probably wanting to take you somewhere nice to smooch" teased Summer.

"I wish" Mouse said under her breath.

"Should I tell lover boy you'll be out soon?" Summer teased.

"Yes please. And for the last time, we aren't going to be kissing" said mouse.

"If you say so" teased Summer.

Mouse packed some things in her bag. Her phone, mint candy, her purse which had exactly $5.32 in it and cherry lipstick (just in case they do kiss).

When she got downstairs, Thomas was waiting for her.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

"Yep. Got everything I need" said Mouse.

"Don't stay out too late you two" teased Summer.

"Summer, quit iiit" moaned mouse as she and Thomas exited the house.

"So, where are we going?" Mouse asked as they started walking.

"Well" said Thomas
