"Maybe we should check the nurse station, it might have records or documents with names of subjects or former staff" said Mouse.

"Good thinking, it might also contain other evidence such as a schedule listing the different experiments" said Summer.

"Alright guys, first we need to glove up" said Vincent as he applied a pair of latex gloves.

"Why, it's a nurse station. There's nothing dangerous in there to touch" said Nathan.

Yeah, but we might contaminate the crime scene for ourselves, or even other detectives" said Vincent.

"Actually, it's not a bad idea. there may still be traces of liquid medication in there" said Summer as she and Mouse also gloved up.

"I guess" said Nathan as he borrowed a pair of gloves from Vincent.

"Alright, let's head on in" said Summer.

The four detectives entered the nurse station and saw papers and stationary everywhere.

"Whoever last worked this station sure wasn't organized, just look at this mess" said Vincent.

"or MAYBE...they left in a hurry" said Nathan.

"Yeah, they sure weren't sticking around to clean THIS mess up" said Mouse.

the four detectives scouted for clues, not missing the smallest detail.

"Hm, these documents have all the names blacked out with permanent maker, no luck there" said Nathan as he looked through a bunch of documents.

"Actually, you might be surprised. Pass them to me, I'll see if I can find out what's underneath the marker when we're processing all the evidence" said Mouse.

"Wait, you can DO THAT?" asked Nathan.

"Well sure, if it's an original and not a photocopy" said Mouse.

Nathan shrugged and let placed the documents in a plastic bag that Mouse was holding.

Mouse wrote "Documents - St Giggles" on the label.

"Documents bagged and tagged, what's next" said Mouse.

Hey guys. Be careful, cause it looks like the ceiling tiles are coming down, but come check this out" said Summer from the back room.

"Guess we should have worn hard hats" said Vincent as he walked through slowly, so as not to shake anything.

"Hey Summer, what did you find?" asked Vincent.

"A computer, this was probably where most of the paperwork was done. it looks like it may be a little old, but I could probably get this working again and preserve the files on the hard drive while I'm at it" said Summer.

"Don't move anything yet, I gotta dust this thing for prints" said Vincent as he bought out a powder and brush.

"Why? You can't do anything with those even if you manage to get them, you need special software" said Summer.

"I have some. It can only find people who've been in the criminal system in the last 5 years or on the medical board for the last 10, but it's still quite handy" said Vincent as he applied some powder to the brush and started brushing the keyboard lightly.

"How the HECK does he even have that?" thought Summer in amazement.

"Hey Summer, I found a liquid" said Mouse.

"A liquid? In the nurse station?" asked Summer.

"Yep, collecting it with the Integriswab now" said Mouse.

Summer was confused, what liquid could possibly still be here after years of this place being abandoned?

Just then, she spotted a vile was tipped over and some liquid had poured out.

"I think I just found your liquid Mouse, but I'm not to sure what this liquid IS" said Summer.

"Great, bag and tag it so we can compare the samples using my laptop and kit later" said Mouse.

"Wait, you bought your laptop with you? And more importantly, it can DO THAT?" asked Summer.

"Yeah, just in case we needed to compare samples of something, I have software on there that gives a rough comparison. Like, if you put Coke or Sprite on a swab and then put it in the analyzer, it'll come back as carbonated soda" said Mouse.

"Where are you and Vincent even GETTING this software?" asked Summer.

"There are a number of sites, I'll leave em by your computer when we get home" said Mouse.

"Cool, they're bound to help me as a junior detective" said Summer as she screwed the lid onto the vile and placed it into a plastic bag labeled "Unknown Liquid"

"Alright, all bagged and tagged" said Summer.

"The computer's all yours, Summer. I got a set of print to run through the system" said Vincent.

"How're you going to get that back to our crime lab? it's too big to put into your go-kart and something might break" said Nathan.

"You're right, I DON'T have space on my go-kart. But, what I DO have is a friend with a little mettle wagon who owes me a favor" said Summer as she pulled her cell phone out.

Summer went into the main hall of the hospital to make a call, but Nathan noticed something.

"Hey guys, this emergency exit door is open. And the bar's still pushed in" said Nathan.

"What does THAT mean?" asked Mouse.

"That someone was here before us, but left in a hurry when WE showed up. It also means if I can match a print from the door to someone, we have a suspect" said Vincent as he dusted the bar for prints.

"I got a partial, which won't mach up to ANYTHING unless we already have a full print" said Vincent as he used some adhesive lifting tape to take the print.

"Alright, calls been made. My friend is 10 minutes away" said Summer.

"We just found out that someone was JUST HERE" said Mouse.

"OH MY GOSH, ARE THEY STILL AROUND?" asked Summer.

"Not if these shoe prints are anything to go by, they lead OUT the door" said Vincent as he snapped a picture of the shoe print for later comparison.

"And they start near the puddle of liquid I found" said Mouse.

"Maybe the liquid was left by our run away suspect" said Nathan.

"We'll find out soon enough" said Summer.

10 minutes later, Summer receives a text.

It read "Hey Summer, I'm outside with the wagon"

"Alright. Mouse, grab the keyboard and mouse, Nathan, grab the monitor, Vincent, you get the wires while I grab the computer itself. Let's go" said Summer.

As the four detectives walked outside, they saw Chris standing next to a blue wagon.

"Chris? What are YOU doing here?" asked Mouse, surprised to see him.

"It's my wagon that Summer needed" said Chris.

"I wonder WHY she was owed a favor" muttered Mouse as she rolled her eyes.

"Let's put it this way, it's nothing like you think" said Summer.

"Really? Are you SURE you didn't give him a quick smooch but he wanted to keep it secret?" joked Mouse.

"I WISH" said Summer to Mouse, making both girls snicker.

"What are you doing here Summer, and is that an OLD COMPUTER?" asked Chris.

"We have a case about some experements that were carried out here before this place shut down, you think your wagon can hold this thing?" asked Summer.

"Yeah, it should" said Chris.

Chris looked at the hospital and looked really uneasy.

"Are you OK?" asked Summer.

"Huh...OH. Uh yeah, I'll be fine" said Chris.

"Please take it easy with Bessy, she's my favorite wagon" said Chris.

"You named your wagon Bessy" smirked Summer.

"Yeah, I know that's kind of dorky, so don't tell anyone, OK?" said Chris.

"Looks like you owe me another favor" smirked Summer.

"Alright, Vincent with me, Nathan with Summer. Let's roll" said Mouse.

once they got to Nathan and Vincent's place, they split into 2 groups.

Nathan and Summer were working with big evidence, such as the computer they had just carted and carried up the stairs, While Nathan and Mouse work with forensics, such as fingerprints, liquids, DNA and Documents.

They worked for 30 minutes before there was a break in the case...
