The public library was an ancient building in the city center. Historical, majestic, and, Mouse thought, duuull.
"Only you'd do something like this." Mouse whined. "Only you'd want to spend a Saturday afternoon in a LIBRARY."
"Mouse! This is a treasure trove! What are you saying!" Summer shouted, her eyes gleaming. "As my sister, surely even you must've inherited at least a smidgen of my detective instinct! For the keen eye, this place is a blah blah blah" Mouse stopped paying attention at this point.
She followed Summer without any resistance as they walked past the reception desk and her sister started checking out the books on the nearest shelf.
"Ah yes, this is just what I was lookfEEHEHAHAHAA!"
Summer jumped when she felt something squee her sides, and spun around to see a giggling Mouse run off.
Some of the other guests and the stout lady behind the reception desk were giving her dirty looks.
"Be silent in the library, please." she said.
"Oh...yes, I'm really sorry!" Summer apologized.
"(Mouse!)" she hissed. "(Get back here right now!)"
