Total darkness

They had left their mobile phones at home, meaning they were left in complete darkness.

"Summer, find the lights quickly" said Mouse.

"I'm trying, but it's so dark in here" said Summer.

"I'll help" said Nathan.

Summer and Nathan felt about the wall for a lightswitch. Eventually, Summer found a switch. She flipped it and the lights in the room came on and they could finally see, although they almost wished they couldn't

Now that the room was lit up, they could see a device that looked like a dentist chair with restraints brushes, feathers and other weird things in the middle of the room.

"Is that...a TICKLE MACHINE?" gasped Mouse nervously.

"I'm afraid it looks like it might be" said Summer.

"OK, that's a huge piece of evidence" said Nathan.

"There's a console over there, maybe it makes this thing work" said Vincent.

"Only one way to find out, press the big red button" said Summer.

Vincent pressed the button and the restraints on the machine opened up. Vincent came back around to get a better look.

"Ohh, OK. So, the patients would be restrained on the chair using the clamps and all the feathers and brushes and stuff would be used to tickle them. We need to see if it works, though" said Vincent.

"But it's too small for you or Summer to get into" said Mouse.

"But you and Vincent are the perfect size" said Summer.

"Ohh no ya don't. Nu uh, no way. That thing would drive me crazy" said Mouse.

"Uuh...I'm allergic to getting tickled so that rules me out" lied Vincent.

"No you don't. We need to see if it works for our investigation. You and mouse both write a double digit number and the lowest number gets to test the tickle machine" said Nathan as he handed them both a small piece of paper and a felt tip pen each

"Fine" sighed Vincent.

"If we have to" said Mouse.

Mouse and Vincent both wrote a number and gave their pieces of paper back to Nathan. Nathan revieled that the person getting tickled in the machine would be...
