Chapter #7

Fortune favors the brave (or does it?)

    by: Whade Author IconMail Icon
Summer found the doors unlocked when she arrived to Margaret's family's house. However this was not very surprising - hardly anybody in Hollering Heights usually locked their doors in the summer. Public safety was considered to be good in the small town, and every family with children tended to keep their doors open for the kids of other families when they came to visit.

Knowing this Summer entered the house without thinking too much into it. The main rooms seemed to be empty but she could hear some faint sounds from upstairs, so she followed the stairs up to the bedrooms. However, as she swung the first door open, she immediately wished she had knocked.
For she had stumbled upon a most unbelievable scenario...

Marge and Abby were both in their school uniforms, but they were unbuttoned and both girls were barefoot. Abby was sitting on a chair and Marge was tying her wrists with some sort of rope. Around them on the floor were various other equipment like cuffs, a collar, and a whip.
Both parties were so shocked that neither of them moved for 5 seconds.
It was Margaret who came round first.

"G-Get her!" she yelled in panic. Summer turned around to run, but the two girls were faster.
She tried to get free, but Margaret had a grip on her like an iron vise.

"What should we do with her, Marge?" Abby said.

"Just stop her from escaping." Margarter barked, her teeth chattering.
She quickly grabbed the long rope that's previously been used on Abby's wrists and they promptly tied Summer to the chair. Her ankles were fixed to the front legs of the chair, making her soles face upward. Her wrists were bound together and secured to the backrest. Margaret then put her palm over her mouth so that she wouldn't scream.

After a few intense seconds, Marge removed her hand.
"Look - you can't tell anyone what you saw here. Got it? If you do...I'll just...You can't imagine what I'll do to you..." she said, pacing up and down.

"B-ut WHAT did I see?" Summer blurted out. "All I saw were you two, I mean, it's not like you did anything ba..." Her voice trailed off under Margaret's gaze.

"Tsk." Her face fell. "You think my parents would accept a-an L-word? If this gets out of here I'm finished."

"But Marjie, I didn't know you were ashamed of me?" Abby asked playfully and pouted.

Margaret turned away from Summer and grabbed the hands of her girlfriend.

"There's no way I could be ashamed of you. Because I, I really-"

Well this was all very fascinating, Summer thought, except that I was still tied up.
I'm more concerned with how I will get out of here at the moment than what's going on between these two idiots. She glanced around searching for something that could help her out and found nothing.

Meanwhile the grand emotional scene seemed to be over because Margaret came over to Summer again.

"Okay, do you SWEAR you'll never tell this to anyone? I'll remind you that you have no choice unless you want to feel my wrath."
