When it dawns on the little girl that you were not a large bug, but in fact a very small boy, she shrieks and almost falls out of her seat.
“What are you?" she asks in astonishment.
"I am a human, plus the brother of Alissa Candoni, if you know her. She goes to this school and I was just dropping her off and I shrank. I don't know what happened and if you could please help me get back to my normal size..." you started to ramble while in fear of what this ginormous little girl had on her mind. “My name is Rachel,” she says, “What’s yours?” “I’m James, James Candoni" you tell her.
Now that you could finally relax a little, you walk to the edge of her desk to take in your surroundings. Judging by the decorations on the wall, this was probably a classroom for some of the younger students. You suddenly get an uneasy feeling in your stomach.
"What grade is this?" you ask Rachel.
"Second grade," Rachel informs you. "Why do you ask, James?" "Oh, no reason," you say, trying to sound nonchalant, but your suspicions have been confirmed: this was your evil next door neighbor Bailey's class. You knew that name well enough
That "Cochetwick" name on the beaten, grey mailbox you saw whenever you drove by her house was in fact something you shuddered about everytime. You've seen what insanely kinky things Bailey does to creatures your size from your bedroom window. You could always see the silhouette of a little girl being hidden away by her curtain doing some unforseen thing to a "bug". You shudder with your whole body thinking if torture or fate were to become apparent to you.
You had a few choices to make: You could stay with Rachel and risk being discovered by Bailey, you could look for help somewhere else, or risk being found, toyed with, and squished by some other little girl.
