“I want to play house but I have no babies.” Angelica complained.
You look across the yard to see that she has no dolls out. She had a table, chair, and bottle all set to ply house. She had dolls and you had seen her play with them with her friends.
“Don’t you have dolls that you could use to be the baby?” You ask her.
“That only works if you have friends who bring their own dolls. We can have conversations like we are moms in the neighborhood.”
Angelica was a smart cookie. She could recognize the social structure of neighborhood moms.
“I want it to be like the real thing when I am by myself.” She stated.
Angelica was asking for a lot but who couldn’t blame her. What little girl didn’t want to play make believe and have it be as real as it possibly could.
“I see, how about this? I will be your baby for a little bit. I have some free time.” You offered to play with her.
“Really?” Angelica’s green eyes glimmered at your words.
“Really.”
Angelica smiled. She pulled the empty chair out for you to sit on as she was excited for a playmate.
“You sit here and I will get you some food.” Angelica patted on the chair.
“Yes, Mommy.” You gave a high pitch voice as you sat down. Angelica giggled at your acting skills.
“Good job, baby. Mommy made you a bottle.” Angelica grabbed the bottle from the table and stuffed it into your face. The bottle had a white liquid in it. The rubbery tip pierced your lips as Angelica jammed it in.
“Drink up”
You go through the motions of sucking the bottle to find that the bottle was a real bottle. Drips of the white liquid fell onto your tongue. It was like milk but bittersweet.
“Is the liquid suppose to come out?” You ask with a garble. Angelica kept the bottle to you mouth.
“Yes. Now drink it all up.” She smiled with a lustful grin.
You shrugged and accepted what she said. You continue to suck the bottle until it was dry.
“Good job, baby. Mommy is so proud of you. It is now time for a nap.” Angelica pulled the bottle out of your mouth. She put it on the table and pulled out a blanket. She flipped it up so that it spread out wide. She placed it on the grass for you.
“You can have a nap here.” Angelica pointed at the blanket.
“Yes, Mommy.” You got out of the chair and laid down on the blanket. You were on your side. Angelica reached out and rubbed your head.
“Now close your eyes.” She said.
You close your eyes to follow along with her game. A little bit after you close your eyes. An uneasy feeling starts to flood your body from your stomach to the rest of your body. You experience a wave of vertigo and you lose all sense of yourself for a few seconds. Once it is gone, you open your eyes to make sense of that weird sensation.
“Did you have a good nap?” Angelica asks down to you.
