This choice: The Flower Division (Tokyo, Japan) • Go Back...Chapter #2The Flower Division (Tokyo, Japan) by: Vocal So, you decided to go with the famed Flower Division, hmm? That's fine. After all, the Flower Division that the Sakura Wars series focuses much of it's attention on early in the story. Now then, here's a little more history about the Flower Division:
On New Year's Day in 1922, the Imperial Assault Force was the successor to the Imperial Army's Counter-Demon Team. One of the members of that original team, Lieutenant General Ikki Yoneda, commanded the group until his retirement. By 1927, the Imperial Assault Force is composed of six official groups, all of which serve different purposes within the organization. The anti-demon attack squad, known as the Flower Division, is the division that the series focuses much of it's attention early on in the story.
Now as for the members of such an assault force, Flower Division is led by Lieutenant Junior Grade Ichiro Ogami, with Maria Tachibana acting as his vice captain. Other members of the Flower Division include Sakura Shinguji, Sumire Kanzaki, Iris Chateaubriand, Li Kohran, Kanna Kirishima, Orihime Soletta, and Reni Milchstrabe.
Other teams that play significant roles in the original storyline are the Wind Division, who are responsible for frontline support and transportation, Moon Division, who provide support within the shadows, and an unofficial group known as the Rose Division, who protect the Majinki. Now as for what sort of armor the Flower Division uses against the demons, Kanzaki Heavy Industries developed a dual-powered steam/spirit armor known as a "Koubu", only a young girl bearing high levels of spiritual power is shown to have been capable of moving the Koubu, which gave birth to the misconception that only women could operate the Koubu armor. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
