The paper was a note from his mother

Harry was confused by the note, it was clearly his mother handwriting but all it said was "enjoy your new life". Harry blinked again not noticing his eyelashes flaring out. The note was strange, Harry knew his mom was not exactly pleased with him at the moment but this note was still very strange. Thought it was put on hold however as of blaring of a horn interrupted his thought. Looking up there wasn't time to see front end of a medium size pickup truck streaking toward him.
