Sam was a young German shepherd and for all his life he had spent his time in the pound. The young dog had never been that well fed due to the shelter that he was at did not have enough money to feed all dogs and cats along with the plethora of other animals they received enough.
Sam looked out the small bars of his kennel wishing that at least someone would adopt him. He was only a year and a half old but looked to be about three. He gets along with the people at the shelter and does not mind the other dogs so he just sits there waiting for anything to happen since today he has a feeling that something good will happen.
