Jesse and his brother Jacob stepped of the school bus in front of their father's bakery. The building was brick, two stories and nestled between a few other shops in the center of their suburban town. Jesse and Jacob called the bakery home, and it was, seeing as the second floor was where they lived with their father. Both boys had straight, ginger red hair and bright blue eyes, and their faces were dotted with freckles. Anyone could tell they were brothers. Jesse and Jacob loved helping their Dad, Gary, at work. They were both helpful when it came to kneading dough, decorating with frosting, finding ingredients and the like, but their favorite job was taste testing.
Two years ago, when Jacob was 13, he started working part time at the bakery officially, and he started to balloon up. Neither of the boys had ever been thin, but Jacob was 120lbs when he started working at the bakery and now was about 180lbs. Jacob loved making cakes, decorating them, and eating all the excess frosting. Because of that, he had developed a skill for never using too much frosting, and always making more than he needed, providing plenty for him to guzzle after each masterpiece. Gary didn't seem to mind his sons constantly "snacking", he was proud of their good taste and proud to be able to provide for them.
Now that Jesse's 13, he's decided to start working at the bakery as well. Jesse already weighed 125lbs, and had even more of a sweet tooth than his brother, being the baby of the family. Jacob joked that when Jesse started working at the bakery, he was gonna get even fatter than his brother was! And Jesse... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
