"Hahaha! With this ray-gun, I shall turn Sonic into dust!" Dr. Eggman laughed in his lab. "Yes! This will be perfect! He'll be turned into nothing and won't be able to stop me at all!"
Charging his newest device until it was fully charged and pulsing with energy, he marvelled at his engineering before quickly dashing out of his base; in search of his adversary.
"Let's go find him..." He said in a very sinister tone. Eventually Eggman found Sonic relaxing at a beach.
"Perfect, he'll never see it coming."
There from a safe distance in the sky, Eggman ready his ray-gun and fired at Sonic who was too occupied with his radio to notice a strange beam of light that was speeding towards him. The beam flashed Sonic and instantly engulfed him with the light, Eggman snickering at his handy work and instantly flew away; knowing his plan was already a success.
Humming to his tunes with his eyes closed, Sonic didn't notice something felt off and strange tingling all over his body.
