The girl of the second carriage stepped out and she was fatter than Cassandra. Her name was Chloe, she’s six months older than Cassandra, a head taller, she has straight black hair, green eyes and she comes from one of the most powerful and wealthiest countries in the world. Being from a country so powerful and wealthy the people who lived there were incredibly obese, including the royal family. Chloe herself was no exception as she was apple shaped with a big belly. She was also a complete brat as she had no respect for her servants, people skinnier than her, or the people under her family’s rule.
While Cassandra herself can be a brat sometimes, at least she had manners, respects her servants and doesn’t look down on her people.
“SERVANTS!!! Bring me closer to princess Cassandra immediately!!!” said Chloe as 6 skinny servant girls who looked like the same age as her painstakingly carried her to where Cassandra stood.
“Chloe, how nice of you to join us” said Cassandra, doing her best to put on a smile.
“Of course you are Cassandra, everybody in the whole world just loves me” said Chloe.
“Sure they do” said Millie under her breath.
“Well now that we are all here let us all go to my chambers and-“ said Cassandra before she was rudely interrupted.
“YOU! SERVANT! Do you remember the way to princess Cassandra’s chambers?” asked Chloe to one of her servants.
“Y-y-yes your h-h-highness” said one of the servants.
“Good! You will lead the way then. As for the rest of you. BRING ME TO THE PRINCESS CHAMBERS, IMMEDIATELY!!!” said Chloe as her servants carried her to Cassandra’s chambers.
“Those poor servants” said Emily.
“I know. I mean I also require the aid of my servants, but I would never do this to them” said Cassandra.
“Did you have to invite her?” asked Angelica.
“I had no choice. She comes from one of the most powerful kingdoms in the world, I had no choice but to invite her” said Cassandra.
“Now we have to deal with her attitude for the next few hours” said Millie.
They finally arrived at Cassandra’s chambers and sat down around a table. Cassandra ordered her servants to fetch them some tea and cupcakes. The servants returned with tea and cupcakes and the princesses engaged in conversation except for Chloe who was to busy stuffing her mouth with cupcakes. After she ate enough cupcakes to feed a whole kingdom Chloe engaged in conversation as well.
“Say, have any of you received an invitation?” asked Chloe.
“An invitation? To what?” asked Millie.
“To a ball celebrating the 9th anniversary of prince Alexander’s birth” said Chloe.
All of the princesses have heard of prince Alexander of course. He was the heir of the most powerful kingdom in the world, the only one that surpasses Chloe’s kingdom. The prince was also known to be very handsome as well as kind.
“Not only are they celebrating his birth, but the king and queen are also inviting all of the princesses of the neighbouring kingdoms to set up a potential future bride for the young prince. And I also hear that the prince prefers his women to have more meat on their bones” said Chloe.
The princesses squealed with excitement of the prospect of the prince choosing one of them to be his future bride, but Chloe then started laughing.
“You fools! The prince will go for the fattest girl at the ball, and it will obviously be me” said Chloe.
“Appearances aren’t everything Chloe, there’s also manners and personality” said Cassandra but Chloe just kept on laughing.
“Keep telling yourself that Cassandra! In fact I bet you didn’t even receive an invitation” said Chloe.
Cassandra then asked Rachel if she received an invitation to prince Alexander’s ball.
