As Gumshoe made his way to the prosecutor's office, he encounter someone he usually winced at whenever they met, Franziska Von Karma. "H-hello sir!" Gumshoe greeted her
"Detective, I assume that you're here to help a prosecutor with a case they're working on?" Franziska asked
"N-no sir. Today is a slow day for me and I don't have any-" Gumshoe was interrupted by Franziska's whip hitting his body.
"Fool! There are crimes going on every day!" Franziska said with another crack of her whip "A detective cannot afford to take a day off!"
Between whip cracks, Gumshoe reached for the remote in his jacket, for once he didn't need to just sit still and take the verbal (and physical) abuse. He clicked the Aware Swap button while pointing at himself, then swiftly pulled it out of his jack and pointed it at Franziska.
Suddenly Gumshoe's view switched around. He was now staring at his own body, and the whip was in *his* hand. His own body was staring at him confused. Gumshoe noticed that the remote was still in his body's hand. He needed to act fast!
He quickly whipped forward "Fool! Listen to what I say! Go out and find some crime to investigate!" He did his best Franziska impression. The shock from being whipped caused Franziska to drop the remote.
"W-what is going on?! Why are you-" Franziska began to demand answers, but was whipped again by Gumshoe, who was very happy not to be on the receiving side for once.
Franziska wanted more than anything to confront her own body about what was going on, however everytime she spoke she was met with the force of her own whip! She eventually gave up and bregrudidly walked away.
Gumshoe breathed a sigh of relief as he picked up the remote from the ground. If Franziska had payed less attention to him and looked down for even a second, the how ruse would've been ruined.
"Okay, got a new body. No way Mr. Edgeworth will think I'm crazy if I explain it to him now!" Gumshoe said as he resumed his walk to meet Edgeworth
