Maya keeps Nick in the dark.

"Oh, the box? It's private. Secret Kurain stuff. That you don't need to know about." Maya told Phoenix.

"Oh, ok." Phoenix replied.

"Don't get any funny ideas!"

"I'm not! Jeez..."

Success. Nick didn't suspect a thing. He got up to water the plant in the corner of the room, leaving Maya to her thoughts.

Maya thought about doing something to Nick while he was looking away. She could use the remote now, or maybe she could wait until they went out or someone showed up to use the remote on somebody. Both worked for her.

So, what did she end up picking?
