"What did you inject me with?!" Officer Hopps asked, her voice snarling over her words. It hadn't seemed to do anything, even now, hours later at the police precinct as she interrogated the suspect.
The weasel, Wendel, shrugged. "I have no idea, bunny. I don't ask too many questions about the stuff I'm told to deliver, it isn't good for business." He sat almost vibrating in his chair. "Why don't you ask the buyer? He'd know more than me."
The question made Judy scowl. "We would, but he's refusing to talk, his lawyer advised against it." Judy paused, letting her anger brake over her, imagining herself punching the crook in his dumb face, then sighed. "We're done here. See you at the trial, Wendel."
Officer Wilde was waiting for her outside the room, a smirk on his face. "Why didn't you tell me you hadn't gotten your shots yet, carrots?"
Judy brushed away his joke with a frown. "I am done for today." Without another word, she started to head home.
