Chapter #3
A smelly boarding house for Goblinkin.
by: Unknown
Surely she could handle the goblins, even if they had a bad reputation. They may have scared off other scouts, but she is ten! She shouldn't be scared of any Goblins, they were her size when they're full grown. Little dide she know of goblin habits when came to girls. She was warned by her parents, "Those little goblins, sure can be nasty." But that just seemed like another reason they'd like her cookies. Besides, she could handle herself right?
The goblin reputation for devouring any unsuspecting girl they could get their hands on, wasn't something most parents told their kids. Thusly, the forlorn clothes, ranging from dresses to school girl uniforms, to even the moo-scouts she was in passed by her without a single thought. The fog wasn't too bad, but felt ominous, or even wrong at this hour. The smell was an odd one, she could've sworn she knew what it was as she brought her wagon up to the first door. She knocked, and there was no response. She tried again, and she heard something 'clank' in the door infront of her.
The door opened slightly, "Yeah? What do you want?" The voice called out to her, only a yellow eye visible through the doorway. "I'm here to sell cookies." You proudly announce. "And your my first customer!" There was a pause, "First customer..." you hear him say, the door closes. You knock again, hoping he'll open the door.
