You just before the portal even appears in the living room are busy watching a few Australian TV shows on DVD having taken a interest in them as you were bored of watching reruns of American cartoon shows on TV and lame crappy sitcoms especially what was on TV nowadays one show in particular catch your immediate attention called Ocean Girl that primered in the early 90s on the Disney Channel and completely interested as you thought the title character Ocean Girl or Neri and the actress who played her was hot as heck you watched a few of the episodes of seasons one and two where her younger sister Mera first appears and is rescued by the gang so completely absorbed in watching the widescreen you at first didn't see the swirling vortex that appeared out of nowhere and soon everything not nailed to the floor began spinning around and you struggled not to get sucked into that black hole and sent to who knows where when just as suddenly as it appeared the vortex vanished leaving only a entire mess of overturned tables,chairs,papers,your now completely useless laptop with the screen cracked and destroyed television set "Oh man my folks are really going to kill me! How am I going to explain to them that a weird portal tore up the living room and destroyed sell their stuff?" But you had something else to worry about:mainly the girl clearly in her early teens on your couch looking blank and confused as you inched a bit nervously closer to her you noticed "There's something really familiar about this girl but I can't put my finger on it!" As she had dark brown eyes,green eyes you suppose it was hard to tell and was dressed in a type of ragged dress fabric of some type of material revealing her long tanned legs and bare feet you didn't recognize "Are you okay?" You asked her as she sat up staring confusingly at you with big eyes but didn't reply you offered your hand to her informing her you meant no harm "Look you're perfectly safe Miss I mean you no harm." Then finally she spoke "Where am I?" You replied "In my living room?" "Living room?" She asked as she began wandering around the destroyed part of your house examining every bit of space "Where's Jason and Brett? Are we at ORCA? Where's Charley? Where's island?" You realize she's referring to the two boys she befriended in the show the older one Jason who eventually develop romance feelings for her in the near future and vice versa,ORCA being the futuristic marine facility their mother Diane was heading up to study mostly whales and Charley of course being her whale companion whom she had a telepathic connection to you replied "You're far from Australia Neri you're in the United States." "United States? Where's that?" She asked curiously turning back to look at you "It's across the sea far from Australia on the western side it's much larger than Austr..." And you realize all this explaining is highly confusing to her being she is almost has a childlike personality but wise beyond her years at the same time and stop "Yeah I'll explain it you later so are you alright? Are you hungry by any chance?" Recalling the episode you just watched upon visiting the OCRA facility Neri and her younger sister had just taken a interest in eating human food such as hamburgers having survived on basically fish all this time she nodded and said "Yes but what is your name?" You told her what it was and rather than introduce herself or shake your hand she continued looking curiously at you as if searching for something deep within your body "You're Neri aren't you? The extraterrestrial alien girl sent to protect the planet's oceans from pollution and such....." "Extra..." She asked curiously still looking at you studying every inch of you "It...it means alien or not from this world but anyway what did you say you wanted to eat?" "Hamburger please Jason and Brett and Mother(this the name she normally called the boys' mother Diane)said hamburgers are really good." You nodded and went off into the kitchen luckily you had a few leftovers from Wendy's but before you could even move a weird bluish glow formed around Neri's entire body "I feel strange,body feels funny..." Was all that she got out little did you realize was that that portal had odd effects on people or things that came through it with Neri it was going to be one of the biggest moments of her young alien life you watched astonished as the alien princess slowly began to grow in size and height before your very eyes just how big does she end up becoming?
