Silque believes them and everyone sleeps until ...

Tired from the battle earlier in the day, Silque headed up to her room and slept soundly, like everyone else in the group. The next morning, the Deliverance members enjoyed a hearty breakfast before heading out to pick up the supplies they requested. Once that was done, they left the town to meet up with the Fayes and Shade who camped outside overnight.

Speaking of the camp, many hands made light work of breaking down the tents and gathering the supplies to bring back to the convoy upon meet up. Both Faye and Shade were in exceedingly high spirits, fully energized from their wild night and well-fed. However, the succubus was unable to keep up with the slime girl's superior ability to multiply her existence, eventually becoming unable to force herself to drain any more of the gelatinous country girls. Apparently, there was a limit to how much sexual energy she could consume before she felt mildly sick, similar to how it feels to eat a two-course meal on a full stomach. While Shade was sure she could try to waste the energy somehow to make room, it was clear that doing so would indirectly keep fueling Faye's duplication as well, defeating the purpose. As a result, there were almost three times as many clones of the goo girl sleeping around the camp as there were before the Deliverance parted ways with them the previous afternoon.

As the friends sat together resting after packing up the camp, Shade was wracking her brain to find some explanation that their leader would accept for Faye's considerable multiplication. "Grah, I just can't think of anything he wouldn't see though!" she exclaimed, clearly exasperated. The goo girls listened in silence before a couple of them stood up.

"Here, let me test something," they spoke in unison. Liquifying their bodies, the two slime girls merged into one before taking on her shape again, conspicuously larger than before. "That won't wor-" Shade started saying before stopping as she saw what Faye actually meant. Before her eyes, the combined slime girl appeared to be shrinking back down to her regular size. Opening her eyes again, Faye looked at Shade and smirked when she confirmed that she was no longer looking down at the demoness, confirming that she successfully shrunk to regular size.

"What did you just do?" her companion asked intently.

"I thought that maybe since I've been able to control my form so much better lately, perhaps there would be some way to compress my mass into a smaller space," she answered. "I got the idea when I impersonated Genny last night. Even though I combined two bodies to mimic her, I still stayed as short as her, and that's when I realized I might be able to do this."

"That seems promising," Shade responded, the gears in her head spinning. "Do you know how many bodies you can fit in there?"

"Nope, so let's find out!" Saying as much, Faye began absorbing more of her clones one by one, condensing her mass after each addition. By the sixteenth body, the process of compressing her body had slowed considerably. "I think sixteen is the limit for now," the slime girl said as she turned back towards her white-haired friend. "I feel like I can't shrink things any further, though my gut tells me I might be able to fit more with enough time and practice."

Externally, Shade couldn't notice any difference in the girl's appearance. "Are you feeling alright doing that? Didn't you previously say that it made your head fuzzy trying to combine bodies like that?"

"Surprisingly, I'm barely feeling that right now," came the reply, "Perhaps I'm more used to it now? It's definitely there, but it's very minor."

"Well, this certainly is fortuitous. We ought to be meeting up with the others soon, so do you mind merging together more of your other selves so that nobody realizes you split again? I think you had about forty-seven bodies here when we made camp last night."

"On it," the goo girl bubbled. A few minutes later, it was impossible to tell that she ever multiplied the previous night, and the group picked up their supplies to head to the rendezvous spot.

Once all the Deliverance members had regrouped, they set out to the north, towards Zofia Castle.
