Feeling mischievous, Roy decided to play an innocent little prank on his neighbors and test the device on them. After targeting Mrs. Sanchez, Roy next pointed the futuristic device at her husband Raoul... and pressed the button.
There was no flash of light, no clap of thunder, and no sci-fi special effects.
Instead, quietly but instantaneously, reality had been altered.
Raoul was a tall, ruggedly handsome, muscular man with a dark, bushy, black mustache. Only now his mustache was completely gone... and he was now wearing all of his wife's clothes – a flowery, red and purple blouse, a pair of tight-fitting, black leggings, and a pair of shiny, black, low-heeled women's shoes. Somehow, all the clothes had magically been altered to perfectly fit his body. Additionally, Raoul now wore makeup, earrings, and had his considerably longer hair styled just the way his wife's used to be.
As for Mrs. Juanita Sanchez – her hair was cropped much shorter and was styled in a masculine fashion. She now sported a mustache, similar to Raoul's former one... but considerably thinner, lighter, and more wispy. She was also dressed in her husband's clothes – a cheap businessman's suit, which had also now been magically altered to accommodate Juanita's shorter but plumper and more rounded body.
“Come on Elena, Miguel,” Raoul said in a weird, high-pitched voice. “We don't have all day. Miguel, stop playing with your action figure. We'll be late.”
Juanita, playfully patted the Raoul on the butt.
“Oh, leave the kids alone honey bunch!” Juanita said in a happy, low baritone. “You fret too much, my little flower. We won't be late.”
Raoul giggled and blushed at his husband.
“This is so weird,” whispered Roy to himself.
What next?
