Sarah - His Roommate's Girlfriend

“Let's try this on Sarah,” Roy said to himself. “Just to see if it really works.”

Sarah Howard was the girlfriend of Roy's roommate Jack Sutton. She spent basically all of her free time over here at the apartment, completely devoted to Jack. Sarah was smart, pretty in that “Girl-Next-Door” way, and had a much better job, as a junior librarian at the university library. Roy knew that early in the morning, she'd be in the apartment's kitchen busily making coffee and breakfast for Jack.

Roy quickly finished dressing himself in his fast food uniform, then crept out towards the kitchen. Sure enough, there was Sarah, already fully dressed, and busily frying an egg for Jack while he took his morning shower. She had the small, portable TV in the kitchen switched on and was absent-mindedly watching some gossip show about celebrity trivia.

She had dark, shoulder-length hair carefully styled in a bit of a bob. She wore a light blue, long-sleeved blouse with a blue sweater on over it. She had on black, professional looking women's slacks, some dark nylon socks, and a pair of sensible, brown shoes with a slight wedge heel to them. Although she wore glasses, they weren't too terribly thick and just looked “cute” on her. She'd already put on a modest amount of makeup this morning.

Roy stealthily aimed the device at the back of Sarah's head and pushed the left button.

Nothing happened.

Roy knew he needed a secondary target to complete this supposed Role Swap. So to test out the device, he selected his target.
