Steven did not find out what the witch's curse had done to him until he got home. Almost as soon as he stepped through the door he finds Jake and June waiting for him. With matching grins the pair say, "Give us our normal greeting." Steven is confused because he had no "normal greeting" for the twins. "Stop your lollygagging and kiss our feet," Jake said.
Steven thinks they are messing with him but finds that his body acts on its own as he sinks to the floor and places a kiss on the top of each of the four feet belonging to his younger siblings. "Mom and Dad called saying they were going to be late tonight, and Liz is over at a friend's house so we are in charge," June said after Steven finished kissing both the twins' feet.
Considering that his body had followed their orders, Steven could not help but gulp a little in fear wondering what they had been going to do with him now that it seemed the Witch's curse made him follow their orders and have no supervision. "What are you going to do?" he asked them.
"Nothing much," they said in unison giving him smiles that filled him with fear.
"Let's just head to the park first," June said motioning Steven to stand up and follow after them. Steven once more found he could not stop his body as it fell into step behind the two eight-year-olds as he dropped his stuff on the way out. The twins ignored him as they began to chat in their special twin language that only they understood all the way to the park.
When they got to the park June and Jack finally turned back to Steven before ordering him...
