"Aw, Cassy, it's just a side effect from the unbirthing pod. You'll feel better in a few minutes." Mom said.
She sat down and held her diapered daughter in her arms, stroking the little girl's hair to make her feel better. Cassy still moaned in discomfort.
"There, there, Cassy. Jut wait it out." Mom said.
Cassy hugged and snuggled her mom for comfort. Sure enough, just as Mom said, the pain in her tummy went away and she was feeling better in no time. Cassy sat up in her mom's lap.
"Felling better?" Mom asked.
"Uh huh." Cassy said.
Mom patted Cassy on the head, smiling.
"See, all better. Now come on, you have some homework to do." Mom said.
Cassy went to her room and got out some papers. Her homework wasn't anything serious. She was a smart girl, usually, so she zipped right through it in on time. Just as Cassy was finishing up, Marion got home.
"Welcome home, Marion!" Mom said.
"Hi , Mom." Marion said.
Now that her cool big sister Marion was home and Cassy was done with her homework, Cassy put her papers away and went downstairs.
