Cassy didn't listen to Jia. She kept playing with her pencils and not paying attention. Soon, Mrs. Smith noticed.
"Cassy! Cut it out!" She called out across the room.
"Aw, I was just having some fun. This lecture is soooooo boring." Cassy said, rudely.
Mrs. Smith didn't like being told she was boring.
"Young lady, I think you need some time in the unbirthing pods to calm down." Mrs. Smith said.
Marion walked over to little Cassy and grabbed her by the arm.
"You shoulda kept your mouth shut, sis." Marion said.
"Marion escorted Cassy down the hall in to the basement to the unbirthing pods. The unbirthing pods were machine meant to simulate the womb that rowdy kids would be sent to calm down... or just rude kids the teachers didn't feel like dealing with, as was the case with Cassy. It wasn't painful, but most kids were worn out and tired and hungry after being in the pods for a while.
Marion opened up a pod.
"Come on, off with your clothes. Diaper too." Marion said.
Cassy grumbled a little and took off her shirt. Marion helped remove the little girl's diaper too. Marion pushed her naked little butt into the pod.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult Mrs. Smith..." Cassy said, ashamedly looking at the floor.
Marion sighed.
"It's a little late for that, Cassy." Marion said.
Marion closed the door to the unbirthing pod. An umbilicus rose up and attached itself to Cassy's bellybutton. It would provide her with the essentials to keep her alive, as well as discard her waste products while she was in the pod. Cassy touched the cord and her tummy with her hands. It was really weird t be attached like that.
Slowly, the unbirthing pod filled all the way up with water. Cassy floated in the water, safely secured to the wall through the umbilicus. It was dark, warm, and quiet, just like in a womb. Cassy began to grow vey drowsy.
"Aw, this kinda sucks." Cassy said to herself.
The little girl fell asleep in the pod.
