Weirdo, pile of disgusting slime, nobody. A few of the most basic insults Tania had to endure during her time on Koro47. But now she was leaving the planet. Tania looked around herself. The docks were busy as usual; sailors hoisting equipment in, passengers looking for their ship, and friends and family waiting for their loved ones to arrive or to see off. Tania felt a twitch of pain seeing a father and his family reunite again; holding each other tightly as they didn't care for the whole word to see their affection. Tania wasn't so lucky. She was an orphan; raised by adults who didn't care about anybody but themselves. The other children at the orphanage weren't any better, bullying and torturing her for so many years. Many times she wished that her real parents would pick her up, but nobody came for her. She was alone in this world.
That was until she found herself walking into the port yesterday. Going from town to town she went over to the nearest bar to get a drink. Ignored mostly by people she sat quietly in the corner when she heard a couple of sailors talking about some of the adventures they had in the last few months. Tania immediately became intrigued by the stories. Here were people who didn't care about someone's origin, it was all about the great adventure, sharing a few good laughs.
