Her name was Gwendolyn (though her owner called her Gwen for short) and her life was pleasant once. She had everything she wanted- a cushy home, good food, a dear owner who loved her... Everything was perfect... Until the fateful day came when her owner, the wealthy retired actress Wanda passed on. As is expected, her family pounced on her will before she was cold.
Gwen was heartbroken, but nothing could prepare her for what came next. She was sleeping one minute, then the next thing she knew, she was thrown out into the streets! Grabbed by her scruff, she was tossed out like a bag of trash, as her owner's family began trashing the home, doubtlessly after the jewels. Gwen wanted to reclaim her home, but she was a cat, not a person- what could she do? With a storm coming, Gwen ran. She had no clue where to go, but anywhere was better than being in that former home, where death was a very high possibility.
