A few days ago, Blake had seen a recently posted mission that explained there had been reports of Grimm activity around an ancient Temple. She found it intriguing, and decided to take the mission, needing some time alone.

She had been sent to investigate the cause of the Grimm increase, but first, kill any Grimm surrounding the area. Ozpin had kept the details to himself, telling Blake only that the artefact inside the temple was that of 'unimaginable power'.

He had also advised for her to take a partner with her, so that she had someone covering her back. Blake reluctantly taken his advice. She eventually decided that her partner would be...
