Phoenix shook his head, a hand clutched to his forehead. He'd been having some troubles with sudden headaches all morning, and this one had been the worst yet.
He was in Mia Fey's law office. He'd been receiving personal tutoring from the attorney since a short while after his trial for the murder of a fellow university student. Mia had been a bit hesitant to take him on after the way he'd behaved when she defended him that day, but nevertheless, she'd agreed soon enough. The months since had been a great experience, as he got used to learning from her in her office and...
Something wasn't right. Maybe it was the headache, but Phoenix got the sense that something was more seriously wrong as he reopened his eyes.
Mia shouldered through the door at the bottom of the stairs to re-enter her office proper. Her files were all in order, and she was feeling ready for the trial she'd taken on for this morning.
She glanced around the room. Only a little over half an hour remained until she and Phoenix would be leaving for the courthouse. He was eager to watch her at work from a position other than the defendant's chair, she could tell. That made it seem odd that he wasn't here yet.
She approached her desk near the middle of the room. There was still some time to kill waiting for Phoenix, so she thought to look over all her notes once again to keep them fresh in her mind.
This was a bit much to take in all at once. Phoenix's mind was a near-blank as he stared in abject disbelief at the sight before him. Judging by his point of view, he was standing somewhere on the front half of Mia's desk, the height of his state of confusion only beaten by the impossible sight of Mia Fey herself, sliding into place between her chair and desk, towering what looked like miles over his head.
What the hell was going on? He was sure he'd been standing at a perfectly normal height just a minute ago, right next to the desk that now spread out like a sports field around him. That awful headache had set in, and now...
He was jarred from his thoughts as a violent sound of scraping roared in from somewhere beneath him. Mia had moved her chair to sit down.
A rather important thought made its rather late arrival in Phoenix's mind. Mia wouldn't exactly be leaving her desk vacant when she sat down.
Darkness suddenly covered him as Mia's arm flew by overhead, releasing a terrifyingly large folder of papers onto the desk just a short ways behind him. It crashed down, forcing a gust of wind against him. Phoenix gave a startled yell as the wind knocked him off his feet and into a dazed heap on the desktop. He was still in the cover of darkness, he noticed as he got back to his feet. His balance restored, he craned his neck upward.
Immediately his face flushed the darkest red. The gust of displaced air had knocked him into the stretch of desk space directly beneath Mia's breasts.
He wasn't the sort to be caught staring, but Phoenix easily recognized that Mia had some impressively large boobs. And that was at a normal scale -- at the unknown size he'd been reduced to here, they were individually bigger than most city buildings.
