You woke up at six in the morning and while you did feel more refreshed than usual it didn't really compare to the euphoria of the rest you had the yesterday. You got dressed and went downstairs and saw Mom's credit card with a note, "use for anything you might need". You had forgotten that Ashley was going on retreat with her swim team and Mom was going away for business for the next week, so it would just be you and Jane. The retreat was sponsored by the school, this week was meant for the juniors and seniors to take their SAT's and the teams to get close on their annual retreats, so the you had the next week off lucky.
You poured yourself some cereal and Jane sleepily came down from her room at about seven. You reminded her of the Mom and Ashley situation which she in turn reminded you that she would be hanging out at her friend's house til noon. After she had breakfast, she swiftly got ready and left for her friend's house without missing a beat.
You were still disappointed that you didn't get the same result as last time just because you went to bed early. Maybe there was something more that you were missing which led back to your memories of the 'dream'. Curious and slightly desperate to find a clue to your problem, you entered Jane's room. The bright pink walls and the stereotypical girly girl vibe was evermore present as you entered. When you went to touch Jane's bed again, the same sleepiness you felt before struck, this time you did not struggle against your sleepiness and quickly fell asleep once again.
You woke up to the same refreshing feeling you did yesterday, this time you were still in Jane's room. "Am I still dreaming? Or wait, maybe the 'dream' yesterday wasn't a dream at all! But then how did I get back to my room the first time? Maybe, I felt so sleepy that I just wandered back to my room and just didn't remember. That sounds the most plausible." But then what was the reason you keep feeling so refreshed after falling asleep in Jane's room? "Maybe it's the atmosphere, I guess. The environment here is just so nice to me that I end up feeling better just from sleeping in it!" You were beginning to feel a lot better and... perkier? I guess that was a good way to describe it. You checked the clock and it was almost noon, Jane would be back. Maybe talking to her about can help you find a more permanent solution?
