As Mel was reading the book although she didn't exactly start at the beginning but it was a bit confusing to her. She found this one spell that particularly sparked her interest. " Hey John, I am going to try one of the spells here. Then we will know for sure whether it is fake or not.
" Are you really starting to believe that thing is the real deal! I highly doubt that!" You told Mel. You were positive the book was just a prank or something. However Mel's curiosity got the best of her and she had decided to try the spell just as she was about to cast it however. You and Mel were shocked to see Hayley grab her arm and stop her. "Mel don't cast anything out of that book!" She yelled.
" Hayley? When did you get home?" you asked.
" Just recently and looks like I arrived just in time." She said. Both you and Mel were confused as Hayley had just arrived home, even though she was supposed to not arrive home until tomorrow.
" I am glad that you are home, but why did you stop me? It's not like it's real magic." Mel said to Hayley. Hayley was quick to respond with an answer. It was then that she looked at You and ponder some thoughts before she gave you both an answer.
" Magic is real, but as of right now you are too inexperienced to work certain spells." Hayley said.
" Now you are telling me magic exist Hayley, Both me and Mel have doubts but do you have any proof of this? You asked. It was shortly after that in which Hayley showed a beautiful blue flame coming from her hand. " here's your proof, this is what is called the flame test. It is proof that I am Witch, As well as Mom. I know you have a lot of questions however those will have to wait."
" Why does it have to wait?" you asked.
" How's Harry been doing lately?" Hayley asked you while avoiding the question. Or at least that is what you had thought. It was the next question she asked that rather surprised you. " Would you mind if we take a look at Harry's antique collection while we are at it?
