Ash soon arrived at the lab. As he entered it, he was greeted by a hug from his grandfather figure, Professor Oak. After some catching up, and listening to a few of Oak's new poems; he got registered for the Global Type and Master League Tournament. He was glad all the professors can do this. While didn't mind going to Viridian City, Route One had some bad memories.
After that, he found Bulbasaur and told him to gather all of his Pokemon. With a nod, Bulbasaur ran off. Ash waited and thought about his teams he was going to build. After an hour, all of his Pokemon stood before him. He had them group by the region that he caught them in.
His Kanto Pokemon were Butterfree, Pidgeot, Bulbasaur, Kingler, Wartortle, Charizard, Scizor, Primeape, Gengar, and Snorlax.
His Johto Pokemon were Noctowl, Heracross, Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Donphan, Houndoom, and Tyranitar.
His Hoenn Pokemon were Swellow, Sceptile, Dusknoir, Torkoal, Crawdaunt, Absol, Glalie, and Salamence.
His Sinnoh Pokemon were Staraptor, Infernape, Torterra, Floatzel, Lucario, Hippowdon, Toxicroak, Gliscor, Garchomp, and Gallade.
His Unova Pokemon were Serperior, Dewott, Braviary, Bisharp, Krookodile, Leavanny, Seismitoad, and Aggron.
His Kalos Pokemon were Greninja, Talonflame, Pyroar, Aegislash, Hawlucha, Goodra, Noivern, and Flygon.
His Alola Pokemon were Decidueye, Incineroar, Vikavolt, Lycanroc, Sandslash (AF), Dragonite, and Golisopod.
He greeted and hugged each of his pokemon. He then told them about the tournament, they all cheered.
