You figure... may as well try it on yourself first. Just to make sure everything's safe, right? "If Suzume comes in her, can you tell her I'll be a minute?", you call, peeking out of the back room

"Huh?", Kagari mumbles, looking up from the gurgling pot of brown curry "Oh, yeah. Sure~"

You disappear into the employee room, plop onto the couch, and flip open the book, laying it in your lap. You rub your palms together and psych yourself up: time to try out the book and bite the bullet...
