Chapter #5

Break open the fire axe by the escape

    by: Unknown
Deciding that stopping the zombies was a bigger thing than her state of undress, she ran over to the fire axe and decided that she might have a chance if she sneaks back upstairs to get food...and a pair of pants. Creeping cautiously up the main stairwell, she doesn't see or hear any zombies approaching her, and each step is taken with the axe held high, and her bush and bare bottom exposed to the world.

Eventually, she reaches her floor, and is immediately tackled by a zombie she recognizes as her former neighbor, Ms. Walsh. A quick swing at the former Ms. Walsh's head drops the zombie to the ground. Breathing quickly, she shakily steps down the hall, ensuring that nothing else is going to jump at her, once she's at her door, she hears the Ben zombie bashing itself against the closed door.

"I guess zombies can't work doors." She muttered to herself, after hearing Ben trip and fall before even getting to the door, she giggles, "Even a zombie, Ben is still a klutzy dork." Preparing herself for what was next, she opened the door and swung at Ben, lopping an arm off, but not slowing down the zombie. Panicking, she ran back down the hallway to the main stairwell, a quick glance behind her showing that Ben and most of her neighbors were chasing her now.

With the axe still embedded in Ben, Amber was without a weapon, a bra, or pants...much less panties, and she was running for her life.

Making it back down to the lobby, she ran outside and saw that the city was largely destroyed, zombies chasing down other survivors, deciding discretion was the better part of bravery, she took off down an alleyway, hopping the fence that blocked trespassers on the property, and hid behind a dumpster.

Taking in deep breaths, she tried to calm herself, but just couldn't get over the fact that the zombie apocalypse was actually happening. "This isn't real. It's just a nightmare, I'll wake up in bed soon enough." She kept repeating to herself.

Eventually, she got hungry enough to try for food somewhere, but where did the practically naked redhead go for food?
