This choice: There's nothing; the three fight it out! • Go Back...Chapter #7There's nothing; the three fight it out! by: Unknown There was nowhere to run, though; all the exits were blocked by veritable walls of pony flesh. There was nowhere to hide; wherever they could have gone from the kitchen area would have been found out in mere moments. Really, there was nothing left but, well, fighting.
"I'm warning you!" Horace said, clutching his fists. "Get back or I swear that--"
Whatever threat he was going to make next immediately became moot when a pegasus suddenly flew in through the open area between the front counter and the kitchen, landing roughly on the floor. "Now then!" she demanded, standing tall in front of the three. "Hand over the burgers, or--"
And then, just like that, Elissa punched the pegasus squarely in the face, just hard enough send her off balance and send her straight on her ass.
The whole kitchen suddenly became a mad house as seemingly dozens of dozens of ponies began to flock into the room, all dashing in as quickly as they could to get their hands on the nonexistent food. Mares and stallions alike began to grab and tear at the three frantically, screaming and yelling all the while, and the three responded appropriately.
The three began to assault the surrounding ponies as best they could, their hands and feet landing against the massive equines with all the strength they could muster, slamming into chests and stomachs and arms and legs and faces. Soon enough, the ponies surrounding them were beginning to yell out in pain and fall over, and, much to the surprise of the three workers...they were actually holding their own.
Under any other circumstances, this feat might have been impossible; the ponies too many and too strong to be withstood. These ponies, however, were fat and sluggish, their bodies weighing them down and getting in their way, more often than not blocking each other and slowing them down too much to be maneuverable. More than one pony was taken out of the fight when they were knocked over (either by the humans or by one of their would-be comrades) and unable to get up under their massive weights, or were simply stuck in whatever door or window or whatever they attempted to pull through. It helped, one supposed, that the ponies were actively trying to not hurt the three workers, and that they weren't exactly in the most sensible or reasonable mindset at the time.
After the first few minutes of the brawl, he kitchen was suddenly filled with fallen ponies, trying their best and failing miserably to get up again, the ones behind them still struggling to get inside.
"All right!" Horace said, noticing that the back door actually looked to be somewhat sparsely populated. "Let's go!"
And so they did, tripping and stumbling over te ponies lying on the ground. The way did indeed seem clear, and it looked as if a clean get-away was possible.
