The 6 bearers and the Canterlot Princesses were gather in Canterlot castle. On a long table near them was globe and a spread out map of a world the bearers had never seen before.
The six looked at the princesses questioningly.
"Celestia, are you absolutely sure about this?" Twilight asked.
Celestia nodded.
"I know invading a world is not normally something we would even consider partaking in, but that world is at a pivotal point in it's development. While they lack magic, they are resourceful and skilled with technology beyond almost all other lifeforms, and in the last two centuries technological development has increased exponentially. With guidance, humanity could reach a golden age, but left to their own devices their war mongering could make them a danger to each other, or lifeforms all over the universe."
Luna stepped forward.
"We would not even consider such a thing if their was another way or we thought these humans were best left to their own devices. But they have been crafting instruments of war for a millennia, and have already created weapons capable of devastating entire countries, and only continue to develop more. We cannot allow this to continue unchecked."
Twilight frowned, and most of the bearers looked uneasy.
"I guess I understand..."
Celestia knew they needed more convincing.
"Mentally humanity is quite similar to us in many ways, with a spark on ingenuity even we have to admire. But they are a far more belligerent species and when it comes to behaving towards their fellows, humanity has a lot to learn. Many are capable of a casual cruelty or disregard for other's lives that you would not think possible, and the planet lives in terrible inequality, with some humans having far beyond their needs while many more are left to starve."
Luna sighed.
"We are not coming to enslave them, merely to show them a better way. And we will do all we can to avoid or at the very least minimize casualties. When we are done, we shall leave their planet in a better place than it was before.."
The bearers and Princesses talked and debated a while longer, before they felt ready to do this. It was decided that each pony would be entrusted with a group of humans, though we will all help each other and confer, to decide on the best way to rule, and they were to regard each and every life other their care as precious.
For the invasion, the Princesses had prepared many spells, for they knew humanities weapons were not designed to overcome magic. Every pony would appear at a gigantic scale, be nigh invulnerable to anything that could be thrown at them, and cause minimal damage to the area around them.
Once they felt ready they departed for the strange land.....
