Suddenly you hear a noise. You look out and see the towering form of Zimmerman approaching over the hills and straw. It's clear already that he won't step on you, but you hide anyway, beneath a slightly bent stalk. He steps over you and the stalk protects you from the air current he creates in passing. Once he's gone, you step out and watch him walk to the end of the stable and face a horse you can't see. Its head pokes over the stall door and you see it's the same shire horse the two strangers were shrinking and regrowing. Zimmerman takes a set of straps off the wall nearby and puts it over the horses head. He holds the reins and opens the door. The shire walks out behind him and they both head directly toward you. Not good! You begin running toward the side of the stable, even though it contains an even bigger horse than the one behind you. It quickly becomes clear that you aren't going to make it, but you don't give up hope. Each step of the shire shakes the ground, until they're so strong they make you trip. You stand back up just in time to see the horses hoof lifting toward you. What would take less than a second to occur at regular size, the hoof lifting takes a full five seconds before it starts to descend onto you. No amount of running will save you now. You sink to your knees and close your eyes, ready to face death.
The world goes black as the hoof stomps down, shaking the ground and creating a shockwave that leaves your ears ringing painfully. Wincing, you open your eyes and see a light ahead. You look up and see the horses hoof dangerously close, but not crushing you. A thick metal barrier around the edge of the hoof separated you from a quick death: the horseshoe.
It lifts upward, blasting you with light and creating an air current that lifts you effortlessly into the air behind it you swirl and fly with the hoof, watching as it takes another slow, lumbering step. the impact from it blows you a little further up, closer to the shire's black underbelly. You look back and see its hind legs approaching. You pass between them a few seconds later, after you have started to descend again. This time, both legs create the strong wind, and you are launched upward as they pass. Up, up, up, between its tail and its thick legs
