To Cassie, she seemed just her normal 5’0” Not so the astronomers who had a difficult time interpreting what telescopes were showing. Objects larger than Earth appeared in the sky. One pink and shaped like a sneaker, another was neon green. Both attached to pillars that stretched many thousands of miles. Then a smaller, narrow object, but still longer than the planet itself seemed to come from nowhere and give a tap.
A blondish astronomer in his 30s offered “I have a daughter who’s 10. These objects remind me of her, legs, sneakers and fingers.”
“Ridiculous!” scoffed his boss.
He rolled his eyes and grumbled “Ok. Explain where the Moon just vanished to?”
“It appears to be right where it is supposed to.” Noted another.
And one on the phone added “How often is it dangling from a shoelace?”

Cassie sat with her legs surrounding the blue-green ball she’d found and gave it a smirk “Now you’re definitely mine. Oh! Goodie! Another one!” The preteen noticed a smaller grey ball just as it bumped into her knee. The Moon is almost 2200 miles across, with a weight of 800 quintillion tons but this giantess felt little more than a tap. She bent around her knee with a grin, studied it closely. The orbs of her eyes were nearly as big.
“While I play with your big … hehe… friend” said a happy Cassie, while tying her sneaker string around the Moon… knotting it in place to dangle like a decoration on her pink sneaker “I know just how to keep you safe.” She then set about getting to know something about baseball size.
