Chapter #7"...believe you." by: temp404   Hearing this John relax a bit, though he still have to explain everything.
"This story pretty crazy, you know?" - said Jane after she listened his story.
"But it's true, your EDI can confirm it."
"Yes, he is telling truth. His shuttle disappeared 43 minutes before arrival and then reappeared 64 second later. His V.I. contained data from another universe."
"Um, contained? What happened with them? And why John looking like me?"
"I deleted it to avoid problems. Well, I don't know why he's looking like this, he looked different when we contacted last time."
"Well, we can't stay here any longer, it would be too suspicious, let's head to the Normandy!" - said Jane as she turned to the exit.
"Hey, wait!" - John tried to stop his sister, but from such sudden movement his trousers had torn apart. - "Oh, fuck! I can't walk like this!"
"Well, just leave your clothes then. There are many people walking naked it's not a big deal."
"But for me it is a big deal! Besides, what reaction do you expect when people see two Jane Shepard?"
"Well, you do have a point... Okay, wait a minute" - said Jane after a little thought. She took the pilot seat and minute or so later they were landing at the different dock.
"Okay, that dock is very close to the Normandy, so we have high chance to sneak there unnoticed."
"Yeah, that's cool of course, but I can't leave in this clothes!"
Then Jane unzipped her jumpsuit and begin taking it off, John quickly turned away.
"Here, put it on, if being nude is so embarrassing for you!" - she said and gave him her suit.
"Uh, um, could you turn away, please?"
John start taking off his ripped cloth and tried to not ogle at Jane's big butt, when his sister turned away. It was pleasurably to put off these very tight clothes, and after hesitation he put on her jumpsuit. It was tight yet very comfortable, though John felt more exposed in it than when he was naked.
"Well, I'm ready!" - he said and they left the shuttle and after making sure that the way is clear run to the Normandy, then a minute later and the duo were in captain's room.
"Phew! I hope nobody saw us. Fortunately most of the crew is at Citadel now!"
"Okay, now we need to think on what to do next."
"Well, I think that scanning of your body could give us some clues about your transformation."
"Yeah, that sounds good, but where we can do it?"
"Karin have necessary equipment and right now she must be in the med room!"
So, they decided to pay a visit to a doctor and soon Jane was entering ship's medical office while John was following her.
"Oh, Shepard! You're back!" - Dr. Chakwas was pretty curvy woman with tanned skin. - "I see you're already giving a tour to your sister."
"Sister? Ahem! I mean we want to scan her body..." -m Jane was taken aback by doctor's calm reaction.
"Something bad happens?" - Karin quickly become more serious.
"No, I'm not sure..."
"Well, it's not hard for me..." - said Dr. Chakwas as she start examining John's body.
"Okay, I can say that you're healthy, there's no anomalies, though blood pressure slightly high, but nothing critical."
"Uh, thanks you..."
"So, what the fuck is going on?! She acted as everything is normal!" - said John when they were alone.
"I don't know, my crew know that I was going to meet my brother."
"Um, Jane? There is a problem."
"What is it EDI?"
"That's very strange, but I can't find any records about John Shepard."
"Wait, you want to say that I don't exist?"
"I'm afraid yes..."
"But there must be at least something! Oh, there was an article about Reapers attack on Earth!"
"Yes, I found this article, it tells about heroic feat of Jeanne Shepard, twin sister of Jane Shepard."
"Wait, I don't have sister! Only brother!"
"Well, I guess when you were transformed all traces of John were replaced by Jeanne Shepard."
"Hmm, that explain Karin's calm reaction. Well, more mysteries but at least less problems."   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
