I had the idea of having a story about a teacher who shrinks to about 1 inch in a school. You would be the teacher (obviously), and whatever section of the school shrinks you, or finds you, will either be gentle, or mean.

Would you rather have the older kids, the ones in high school, or the younger kids in Pre K or something like that?
