This choice: Assignment on the Digestive System • Go Back...Chapter #7Taking a Tour Through the Digestive System by: Attilah   “I’d like all of you to work on an assignment detailing the digestive system. You’ll need to either write a four page essay describing the importance of each organ or make an informative video that gives details about each of the organs and their roles and importance. If you’re interested in making a video, I’ll allow up to four people to group and work together. With that said, feel free to use this class time to get a head start on your project.”
Working on an assignment all by yourself can be a lot of work but with four people it would be a piece of cake. You and your friends seem to be thinking the same thing as you all look at each other in sync.
“So do you guys wanna..?” Rose asks you all slowly.
“Make a video?” Rina answers, “I’d say that’s an easy yes. I’ll take making a video any day over writing some long ass essay. You two agree?”
You and April don’t waste a second to respond yes. Write an essay? That seems like way too much work when you have the option to just make a video. Video making seems to be a lot more entertaining than typing up a bunch of pages. All of you huddle up in the back of the classroom and try churning out ideas for a video that would get you all the best grade you could get. Idea after idea comes out but your brainstorm session doesn’t really seem to be making any progress until Rina comes up with an idea.
“Alright how about this. We have to show all of these organs and say what they do, why they’re important and whatever else right? What if we made it like a tour? Start with the mouth and work your way down to the stomach and just continue down.”
It’s a solid idea and you think you might be able to get somewhere with it. “Ok, I think I get what you mean. It could be like a slideshow with each slide being a different part of the digestive system.”
Rina fidgets with her fingers as she tries to give you her best innocent looking smile. “Well, not exactly. I was hoping you could get more of an...up close look.”
Rina then leans her face down towards you and opens her soft red lips and points inside her mouth. One big, meaty tongue rests inside as strands of saliva drip from the roof of her mouth and along her fangs. “You could work your way down from my mouth to my throat and into my stomach. With a camera or even your phone you could get some really good stuff for footage.”
“Wait, what?!” you yell back. Was she really trying to suggest eating you for the project?
“Cmon, please Cory? It’ll be safe I promise! Remember how I swallowed you a few times when you were younger? You came out just fine!”
Rina does have a point. As your babysitter, she used to swallow you down along with your other siblings. It was very rare when she did it but none of you were worse for wear after taking a trip into her cavernous stomach. The only incident that’s ever happened in there was when you accidentally got sucked down into her bowels and out her rear exit. Needless to say you and Rina kept that a secret from your parents. “Well...yeah I guess you’re right Rina. I trust you, I really do, it’s just...I’m a little embarrassed is all.”
“Aww, nothing to be embarrassed about! You’ll be alright with your trusty babysitter, so come on over and take a trip down to Rina’s belly.” she assures you as she continues to eagerly point into her mouth.
Before you or Rina can say anything else, Rose stands up and points at Rina. “Hold on a minute Rina why should you get to eat him?”
“Why not? He’d be way safer with me! I bet you don’t you have any experience with having someone in your stomach. What Cory needs is a gut that’s experienced and caring...” Rina proudly states as she gives her chubby belly a few pats.
“My stomach is plenty experienced! And caring! I’ll have you know that I have over 30 confirmed rescues carrying neeras in my stomach. I even swallowed a transmitter! You’d totally be alright in my gut Cory!” Rose retorts as she pulls up her shirt to point at a pudgy stomach that gives off a weak gurgle.
As Rose and Rina get into a big debate on whose stomach was the better choice, April tries to take your mind off them. “Those two are really going at it huh?”
“Yeah, I didn’t think they’d wanna eat me so bad...”
April just shrugs. “Eh, I’m sure they’re alright. I guess they just found the perfect opportunity for it and didn’t wanna waste it. Besides, it’s best that you should let me swallow you instead.”
Your eyes bulge out with a shocked expression as April’s words echo in your head. What is it with everyone today and wanting to eat you? “What!? You too April?”
“Oh don’t give me that look Cory! You wouldn’t be in me for very long, maybe like half an hour at most. You’ve got nothing to worry about!”
Rose and Rina’s ears perk up at April’s offer and their heads snap towards her.
“April you sneak! You were gonna eat him while we were distracted!” Rose accuses with venom in her voice.
“That’s so not fair!” Rina adds with a similar tone.
You groan as your friends continue to argue over who gets to eat you. “Why are you guys so stuck on this idea? I get the feeling that this is just an excuse to eat me than to actually do some schoolwork.”
An awkward silence fills your vicinity as each of the girls look at you sheepishly with their ears folded.
“Well...no...”
“Errrr....”
“It’s more about the...the...learning experience?”
Suddenly, you feel the presence of someone behind you and find that your biology teacher is looking down at you with a curious look in her sharp eyes.
“I couldn’t help but overhear you all and I must say, I think it’s a wonderful idea! An interesting one too. I’ve never thought of having a neera delve inside someone for some gastric exploration.”
“You really like our idea Ms. Bell?” April asks her curiously as you and the other look with interest.
“Of course!” Ms. Bell exclaims. “It’s very creative. I’d gladly give you all a substantial grade if you went along with it.”
That last sentence made everyone’s eyes light up in your group including yourself. If Ms. Bell really is willing to give you all a pretty good grade for this project then you feel more willing to go along with the idea of doing some internal spelunking. Still, you can’t help but feel a little cautious.
“But what if it’s dangerous? I’m not really sure if I wanna risk my life for a biology video...”
“Your fears are perfectly natural Cory. Going inside someone with an underprepared stomach that isn’t trained to handle tiny guests can lead to a life threatening situation. Therefore, I should be the one to swallow you because of my expertise with digestive functions.” your teacher states matter of factly.
The rest of the girls groan in disappointment and begin arguing again only this time with the inclusion of Ms. Bell.
“Alright, alright! This is going nowhere. Cory, how about you choose one of us? After all, you’re the one doing the exploring.” Rose points to you along with a subtle lick of her lips.
All four catgirls then bring their heads down in front of you, each one opening her mouth with her tongue out as an invitation to venture inside.
