Okay diving in quickly

Episode 2 Season 1
A Bug’s Strife


Lex Luther’s pet lizard Iggy Iguana uses
Lex’s experimental size ray to try and enlarge
his dinner ( a caterpillar )

Unfortunately Iggy makes some miscalculation
unaware of the devices side effects



The caterpillar has growth spurts but they
stop eventually when the caterpillar goes
into a cocoon.



Now here’s what we could alter.
And yes this takes inspiration from another
episode I’ll cover


What if Iggy fired a test shot that
missed and unknown to anyone strikes
Kevin’s little sister Melanie who
like the caterpillar undergoes growth spurts
but because Melanie’s physiology is vastly
different lacking the same life cycle changes and
because Melanie is literally and figuratively
still a growing child/growing girl

Melanie’s growth spurts continue
indefinitely unlike the caterpillar and everyone
must deal with the growing toddler until
a fix can be found

Idea 2 -
The Caterpillar grows. Melanie gets struck
too but instead of small steadily increasing spurts
Melanie is hit with a more powerful more
effective beam due to being a human child with
different physiology the results being much faster
1st Melanie becomes
60 feet tall
Then 120
Then 240
Then 500

The spurts could be the same or further apart
than the caterpillars or than idea one
but the problem is literally bigger because
Melanie jumps to 60 feet and then basically doubles
from there

Idea 3 - circling back to
the BIG SISTER episode
What if they didn’t or couldn’t shrink
Melanie near the end of the episode
And Melanie stays 50 feet longer than
expected and Kevin’s mom of course finds
out
