Mei stands at 5'5" and has the body of a gymnast. She has shoulder length black hair that she wears in short pigtails and almond shaped brown eyes. Mei is wearing an all black outfit made up of a sleeveless top, leggings and low top running shoes.

Mei was born to a poor family in Hong Kong. Her parents weren't able to care for her and sent her to a unique orphanage. The orphanage was a front, training children for a life of espionage. Mei is now a spy for the Chinese government and while she's never failed a mission, her greatest fear is getting captured and tickle tortured.

On her most recent mission, Mei was sent to Siberia where she was ordered to observe and report on the telekinetic Larissa Zavadski. Mei felt strangely sympathetic towards Larissa and disobeyed orders, freeing Larissa and fleeing through a strange portal. Mei relies on her speed and agility, but her small stature can be a problem against larger opponents.
