"...I just love to eat."
I look slightly dumbfounded at the glaring obviousness of the statement, being quite the foodie myself.
Sensing my confusion Rhonda continues
"Well I just assumed that, being as you are Melly, you knew how a girl gets fat", she throws me a wink and slides off her chair and pads heavily into the kitchen, returning with three sharing bags of crisps and a litre of thick chocolate shake which was already passing her lips as she sat back down.
Compared to mother dearest this open fat talk and acceptance was very foreign...and very enjoyable too
"Ok, so long story short sweets I met this guy who was something of a spoiler, particularly in the food department, and it unlocked one hell of a crazy appetite that has spent 18 months building until..." all this was said between mouthfuls of crisps and with a playful rub of that well filled out tummy, why couldn't everybody in my family be this awesome?! Rhonda's voice broke me out of my temporary trance.
"Well until I got where I am today, a 240lb ass that just keeps growing and I love it."
Rhonda smiled gleefully at this announcement and hunkered down in her chair slightly more, causing the overtaxed white tshirt to slide up her front that bit more.
I nod, mostly to myself, as I mull over what I've just been told. Could this really be happening? A member of my family that totally digs the fat life?
"So is there still a guy?" I ask
With a slight snort mid sip, Rhonda shakes her head "nah, been a couple since the first but the last was about 3 months ago, had to climb over 200 on my lonesome." The words sounded sad, but the smile told me they weren't. Living here had a lot of potential.
"What about you Mel? Any significant others?"
"Nope, I'm a lone wolf at this point" I pat my, admittedly, more sizeable belly with a matching smile to my aunt's
"Nice going girl!" The doorbell rings "I think you and me are going to have some fun Mel."
She throws a wide grin my way over her shoulder as she goes to the door. Weirdly now knowing Rhonda's actual weight made her look bigger; there was a good plump belly and hips to go with that behind and she looked good for it.
As I waited for food to come I was left with my mind and, with the words of my mum ringing in my ears still, my stomach rumbled.
Jiggling back, Rhonda placed the pile of boxes on the table with a slight skip (for a woman of her size) in her step, "we got cakes too Mel! Argh, I love these guys!"
I laugh, seeing someone this excited about food was refreshing and a little bit arousing to be honest.
"Here, start eating or I'm having it all!" Rhonda pushed my share into my ribs to get my attention.
And so we ate.
Time passed by, we talked, we laughed, we watched films and the copious amounts of food started to dwindle. The evening continued and we lost track of time until all had been eaten, well, mostly.
I'd not binged that hard in a while so was breathing hard whilst leant back into my seat, belly rounded and exposed the elements as i lazily stroked my ballooned sides. I was impressed with myself, mentally marking it as an impressive feast, but the title of the evening was definitely taken by my aunt.
Having eaten the lions share she was currently handballing dense chocolate cake into her mouth, her face smeared in chocolate like a true glutton. Eating on autopilot she seemed blissfully unaware of the fact her tshirt, now stained brown in places, resembled more of a bra as her spherical belly rose with each gentle breath pushing the stretched fabric over her girth.
Eating always had a drowsy effect on me and I was unable to fight the heaviness of my eyelids as they closed, leaving me with the last image of my gluttonous aunt chowing down. As sleepy brain took over it dawned on me that my aunt may have been sat opposite me but I had a feeling that I was actually sat across from a true binge sister.
This was going to be fun indeed.
