"-It's only the most fabulous blueberry pie and ice cream I've ever had! The berries are so juicy! The crust so flaky with that smidgen of butteriness! And the ice cream is so cool and sweet to pair against the tartness of the berries! It's like I've died and gone to Southern cooking heaven~" Rarity swooned between chews, earning a few raised eyebrows from the others as she prattled along, gushing about the flavor.
"Blueberry from the start? Oh dear, that simply won't do at all! Miss Rarity, I do have to beg you please spit the gum out! It's far more risky with the gum already starting at the dessert?" Celly pleaded, seemingly far more worried than she had been before.
"Why's that Ms Celly? What's going to happen to her?"
"Well twilight, normally she'd have gone through an appetizer and a main course. All completely normal and safe things to chew through. But I'm afraid my deserts just haven't been coming out right with this one. No mater if it's pudding, pies, cakes or custards, it always goes terribly wrong. Nothing but watching my workers balloon into desserts themselves," Celly sighed, watching as the first signs of transformation peeped up on Rarity's face, a tiny speck of blue that quickly began to grow. "Oh dear, it's already started..."
"What's started? I feel perfectly fine! If anything, I think I've never felt better~" Rarity giggled, taking a moment to blow a quick blue bubble and snapping it back. "Well, I do feel a bit full, but I'm sure it's just my brain not being used to being so berry pampered with desserts~"
"You'll be more than blue by the time you're done here Miss Rarity," Celly shook her head. "Not much we can do but watch and wait."
"But Ms Celly," Twilight leaned in to whisper. "Why does she feel so god? She's turning blue! A-and I think her belly is starting to bulge."
"I'm afraid it's the gum taking hold in her. It's changing her thoughts, making her more berry-like. It tends to be a special side-effect of the fruit-based desserts. If she gets too big, she might never be able to go back to being her thin self ever again, at least in her mind she won't."
